A recent “Spotlight” published April 9 on HealthConnect One’s website features member and new CLC Ambar Rivera.
After helping women on their breastfeeding journey, Ambar decided to become a CLC to further her impact on her community in Puerto Rico. To Ambar, she felt becoming a CLC would enable her to be better equipped to help families.
“I have always believed and stand by the notion that breastfeeding is a choice parents make, but when parents decide to breastfeed, I want to make sure that they get all the information and support possible, starting from providing prenatal education to assisting them once they have their baby,” shares Ambar.
