Protecting Breastfeeding in the United States: Time for Action on THE CODEAn upcoming virtual conference, Protecting Breastfeeding in the United States:  Time for Action on the Code, will give historical context and a status update on recent developments related to breastfeeding protection in the United States, and offers opportunities to earn contact hours for recertification and professional development as well.
Dr. Karin CadwellHealthy Children Project’s Dr. Karin Cadwell, PhD, RN, FAAN, ANLC, CLC, IBCLC will join breastfeeding advocates Linda Smith and Betty Sterken in welcoming you to this timely conference and will be kicking the Thursday session off with a history of infant feeding.
Cadwell, Smith, and Sterken will also be introducing the new non-profit, Infant Feeding Action Coalition USA, Inc., the US chapter of INFACT, which is part of a worldwide network working to establish breastfeeding as a societal norm in the best interest of both mother and child.

The webinar takes place Thursday & Friday, April 28 & 29 from 9am-3pm EDT.
Persons who attend both full days can earn 5 E-CERPS plus 4.5 L-CERPs for IBCLCs, 9.5 hours for CLCs & 9.5 professional development continuing education hours for nurses.
